Memorial Day 2007

We went swimming at Uncle Chad's pool on Sunday and Monday. Lauren usually stays on the steps but got really brave and got off the steps and starting swimming around the pool by herself. She was so proud of herself and we were so excited and happy for her. Now she really swims in the pool.

Reagan loves to swim. He splashes so hard that he soaks himself. He thinks he is so funny and laughs and laughs. He was born to be in the water. He's not nervous to swim at all. If he goes under he comes up with a big smile on his face. It's so cute.

Lauren swimming around the pool all by herself. Just know that Uncle Chad was right there you just can't see him in the picture. He loves to show how brave she is. She did so many laps that we were tired watching her.

After swimming we went back to our house and had a BBQ. Cortney came from Buckeye and Uncle Chad came. Tammy stopped in for a minute but had to leave. We had steak, corn on the cobb, pasta salad, watermelon and a veggie tray. We went and got Cold Stone Ice Cream and watched the Jazz game on TV. It was a fun day.

Before swimming Chad and Carly and Brodie and Aubrey came for breakfast. We had waffles, bacon, sausage, and OJ. Lauren loves to play with Brodie. It was fun to have them visit. We don't get to see them very often. And of course I forgot to pull out the camera to get pictures of them.

We have had such a great weekend that I don't want to see Troy go back to work. The kids have been going to bed so early and we have had fun watching movies together in the evenings. We've never really been able to do that because the kids would go to bed so late but now they are early birds so we can have some couple time in the evenings. We watched a really funny movie last night with Uncle Chad. It was called School for Scoundrals and it was really funny. It's a must see.

Anyway I am calling it a night.
