Lauren had her tonsils and adnoids out on Halloween Day. She was having problems with sleep apneia because they were so large. So she got them out and it was a pretty miserable day. Because she was barely three when she had them out she had to spend the night in the hospital. It was really hard watching my sweet little girl go through such a painful thing. But after about 10 days she was feeling a lot better. Now she is so quiet when she sleeps that we always find ourselves checking on her to make sure she is breathing. :)

Bummer that it had to be on Halloween but the earlier the better because she'll remember it less. I was 12 when I had my tonsils and adnoids out and I remember every detail. They promised me ice cream when I was done but all I could eat was broth for a week. They tricked me!
I know how hard it is to see your kids go through pain. You somehow come out of it loving them more afterwards. If that's even possible.
Glad to hear she's doing well.
