On Friday I decided to quit eating candy and chocolate for awhile. This is huge for me. It really started just thinking I wonder if I could go all day without any. Then once I had been one day I was like oh I can do another day. I was so proud of myself I have kept going. So today I am on Day 5 without it and I am feeling great. It has been hard to not eat it but I don't feel so sluggish. I don't know how long I am going to keep going but for now I am doing it and proud of myself.

You can do it Jen! Soon, oranges and apples and pears will taste like the sweetest candy and if you pop some chocolate in your mouth it will be too sweet!
Thank you Jolene for being my cheerleader. The cravings are getting less and less. Actually when I do crave sugar now I eat an apple dipped in peanut butter. It seems to do the trick so far!
I can't wait for the day I taste chocolate and it doesn't taste good anymore. I have lost 2 pounds too since Friday so it's worth it.
Hurray for you Jenifer! It's hard to change old habits, I'm proud of you for starting!!
