My eyes have been opened to the blogging world even more this week. A couple of people on the adoption forum I belong to told me about a couple faith promoting inspiring blogs this week and as I visited them I felt like I was reading a book that I couldn't put down. I have attached the links if you'd like to check them out.
I feel like I've been able to live the scripture in Mosiah "mourn with those that mourn" comfort those who stand in need of comfort.
The first blog that has been so inspiring is called "Bring the Rain". This blog was written by a Christian woman who was pregnant with her 4th baby. Her husband belongs to a Christian Music Group called Selah. Back in January they found out their baby she was pregnant with wouldn't be able to live once she was born. Angie is such a powerful writer that you can just feel her emotions. I found out about this blog the morning she was having her sweet baby.
I spent the whole morning reading through her blog she started right after she found out. She did an awesome job documenting what she has been going through. When she went into surgery I found myself praying so hard for this woman who I didn't even know. I just couldn't get her out of my mind.
** If you want to read her story I would recommend starting at the beginning and moving forward to the recent posts.
2nd Blog: Confessions of a CF Husband - Another amazing blog that has inspired me this week. This was started by a husband whose wife has Cystic Fibrosis. She needed a double lung transplant but before getting it she found out she was pregnant. All their doctors told them to terminate the pregnancy becuase it wasn't safe for her with her health. But they trusted God and moved forward. She has been in the hospital since December of 07 and she is still there. The baby came at 24 weeks and lived. This blog tells the story day by day of what they are going through. Once the baby was born his wife had to regain her health and move toward the double lung transplant.
I can tell you this blog inspired me because of all this family has went through and they are still going through it. They are faithful and so inspring. They update this blog many times per day and I find myself getting so excited when there is progress.
Anyway I just wanted to share two stories of incredible faith. God is so good and he takes care of us even in the hard times.

It is nice when people share their faith and inspiring stories. These two do sound like they tug the heart strings and invite an emotional response.
I have never gotten into reading blogs of strangers. I guess I just feel like I hardly have time to update mine, and read my friends' blogs. That probably makes me fairly unique in the blogging world. Although, I have just made a new friend by her admitting that she regularly reads my blog and feels like she knows and loves me. So, now I have started to read hers to and I do kind of feel like I know her- and it is nice to have a new friend. Especially since we comment for each other, it doesn't feel like we are 'spying' on each other.
But, you convinced me, just reading your descriptions of those stories makes me feel for them too!
Now, come over and read the blog of someone you know and let's hear your thoughts!
